전남 구례군 지리산정원에 '설강화'가 활짝 피어 눈길을 끈다.
18일 구례군은 희망과 인내의 꽃말처럼 추운 겨울을 이겨내고 활짝 핀 '설강화'가 구례 지리산정원을 찾는 겨울 관광객의 발길을 멈추게 하고 있다고 18일 밝혔다.
봄의 선구자로 부르는 은백색의 꽃인 '설강화'는 전 세계적으로도 제일 먼저 피는 꽃으로 알려져 있다.
구례군은 겨울 한파와 얼어붙은 땅을 뚫고 나온 설강화처럼 움츠렸던 몸과 마음을 지리산정원에서 활짝 기지개를 켜고 희망의 봄을 맞이하기를 기대한다고 전했다.
